Find your way around Home
Home is the app’s front door. Every garden you own is a tile there, and the tile is the garden’s own drawing rather than a picture of one. This is the short tour: what a tile tells you, what you can do to it, and where the rest of Seasonry is.
1. Every garden is its own drawing
Each tile is the garden’s plan, redrawn at card size, so you recognise a garden by its shape rather than by its name. Everything else floats on top of it: a status pill top-left when there is something to say, the plant count with a leaf top-right, and a strip across the bottom carrying the name and one line of detail.
Hover a tile and it lifts, with an Open pill appearing in that bottom strip. Clicking anywhere on the tile opens the garden.
What the pill is telling you “Example” marks the read-only demo garden that comes with a new account. “Not synced” means the garden is saved on this device but there is no room for it in your plan. “Shared” means someone shared it with you.
2. Rename, duplicate, export or delete
The ⋯ button in a tile’s top-right corner opens More actions: Rename, Duplicate, Export and Delete garden.
Renaming happens in place on the tile: the name becomes a field, ↵ Enter saves, esc reverts, and clicking away saves too. Duplicate is the safe way to try a bold replanting without risking the plan you like.
Delete is permanent The confirmation names the garden and how many plants go with it, because it cannot be undone. Export a backup first if there is any chance you will want it back.
3. Create a new garden
The dashed tile after your last garden is how you add one. Press it, give the garden a name, and you land on a blank plot with the three starting cards waiting: draw it freehand, type the measurements you took with a tape, or trace it from a map.
When your plan has no room left, that same tile shows a padlock instead and says so. The free plan keeps one garden and Seasonry+ keeps three.
4. Where to next
The rail down the right-hand side is the rest of Seasonry: the plant catalogue to browse every species with filters, styles for curated planting palettes and your own, and the Guide you are reading now. On a narrower window it slides underneath the grid rather than disappearing.
