Edge a bed with a stone curb
A stone curb gives a bed a crisp, finished edge. Seasonry draws it just inside the outline, so it never changes the area's size, and it's completely free.
1. Turn the stone curb on
Select an area and open the Edging section in its panel. Flip Stone curb on and a band of stones is laid just inside the outline. It sits inside the shape, so your bed keeps its exact size and area.
Free and cosmetic Edging costs nothing and never eats into planting space. It only changes how the bed looks and adds a stone-length metric.
2. Pick the stone and joint colour
Set the Stone and Joint colours from the swatches. Warm sandstone, cool granite, dark basalt. The joint is the mortar line between stones. Pick a preset, or open the colour picker for an exact shade.
3. Set the width and stone length
The Width slider (5–50 cm) sets how thick the curb band is; Stone length (20–100 cm) sizes each block along the run. Short stones read as cobbles, long ones as cut kerb.
Tip The curb follows curved edges and rounded corners too, so a kidney bed gets a smooth, continuous stone edge.
4. Edge only the sides you want
Don't want a full frame? Under Apply to sides, turn All off and pick just the edges you want with the per-side pills. Ideal for a bed that only meets a path on one side.
