Find plants in the catalog

1. Search by name

Open the Plants panel and start typing in the Search box. It matches the English common name, the Hungarian one and the Latin name, so levendula finds Lavender just as lavender does. The list narrows as you go and the run your query matched is tinted inside the name, so it’s the quickest way to find a plant you already have in mind.

A row that matched only through the other language says so on a muted third line, In Hungarian: Levendula, and that line appears only while you are searching. Generic words like tree or bush are ignored, so oak tree works, and a query’s words count in any order.

Searching in the other language A hit found only through the other language’s name prints it on a muted third line, so you can see why a row matched. Everyday Hungarian forms work too: nyárfa finds the poplars the catalogue lists as Nyár.

2. Filter by conditions

Tap a facet chip under the search box to match your plot. Pick a bloom month, a foliage kind or a plant type, and stack as many as you like. The list only keeps plants that fit every one.

Conditions is the one that matches plants to a real place. It holds four rows: Soil is what your earth is made of, Ground is how damp it stays, Sun is how much light the spot gets, and Water is how thirsty the plant is. Pick Clay, Damp and Full sun and you get the plants that suit a heavy bed that never dries out.

Soil and Ground are two different questions Soil is what the earth is made of, and it barely changes: sand drains fast, clay holds on, chalk is thin and stony. Ground is how damp that earth stays, which depends on where the bed sits. A clay bed on a slope can still be dry.

Tip Filtering by your real conditions is the fastest way to a planting that actually thrives.

3. Open a plant

Tap any row and its detail slides in from the right, under an Overview · Care · Guide tab bar. Overview is the free one: sun and watering interval, mature size and hardiness, a 12-month bloom calendar and growing notes. Care and Guide carry a small lock until you have Seasonry+. The same panel opens wherever you meet the plant, in this list, on the full-screen catalog page or on a plant already in a bed. Tap the heart on a row to save it to your favourites.

4. Drag it into your garden

Found the one? Drag it straight from the list onto the canvas and drop it on a bed to plant it. The plant lands at its real mature size, so you can see at a glance how much room it needs.
