Place and resize objects
Gardens are more than plants. Drop in stepping stones, ponds, sheds and seating, then size and style each one to fit your plot.
1. Drop an object
Open the Objects tool from the left rail and drag any object, a stepping stone, pond, shed or bench, straight onto the canvas. It lands ready to position, just like a plant. The panel’s Search objects… box runs the same matcher as the plant catalog, so it takes the everyday word in Hungarian or English and ignores accents.
2. Resize it on the canvas
With the object selected, grab any of the resize handles around it and drag. Corners scale both ways, edges stretch one side. The size readout in the panel updates as you go.
Tip Objects size independently of plants, so a pond can be metres across while a stepping stone stays small.
3. Change its shape
An object’s shape is separate from its size. The panel’s Shape row offers whichever footprints that object supports, from Rectangle, Circle, Hexagon and Natural. A pond can take the organic, hand-drawn Natural outline, while an object with a single fixed silhouette, a stepping stone for instance, shows no Shape row at all.
4. Recolour and shuffle
A stepping stone’s panel carries a Colour row of stone swatches. If that stone is the Natural kind, it also gets Generate a new stone, which rolls a fresh organic silhouette, so a path of stones never looks repetitive.
